Background
The U.S. government promotes and sponsors the U.S. Exchange Program. Its purpose is providing the culture exchange opportunity to the students. During pure English environment even out of the class, it helps to improve students’ English and prepare for their way to university. Moreover, students could experience the culture for improving communication skills, so they would be more independent.
Local Life
All exchange students would be arranged into host families. Those host families are volunteers, and they love to learn and exchange different culture from different countries. Therefore, they would love to tell these exchange students all about the real local life and culture. They would arrange the room and meals to the students; all meals are free except lunch. Meanwhile, students could improve interpersonal skills and independent critical thinking skills through their communication with the host families.
Local Learning
The United States is divided into six districts. Exchange students could enroll to public high school in U.S, or they can enroll oe private high school with an extra fee ($3,000 to 6,000 USD per year). All students have to study English and American History. There are many activities for them to make friends and enjoy their school life.
Course Fee
For the public high school, the tuition fee is $ 8,000 USD. For the private high school, they have to pay the fee above and an additional fee $3,000 to $6,000 USD per year.
